Joan Roca Biography
Joan Roca (pronounced “Hwan”) is the founder and the heart and soul of Joan Roca Master Pool Designs.
Joan is a world-renowned master pool designer who creates award-winning swimming pool and watershape designs for commercial facilities and discriminating homeowners all over the world. Joan Roca is rightly considered one of the top 10 pool designers in the world. His designs have graced nine countries, three continents, and dozens of design books and magazines. His services include (1) conceptual pool design, (2) engineered construction drawings for those designs, and (3) project management services, if desired.
Joan has nearly 50 years experience in pool design and construction, achieving some of the highest levels of certification in the world, including:
CERTIFIED MASTER Pool Builder & Design Professional (one of only six in the world).
GRADUATE PROFESSIONAL of the International Watershape Institute.
CHARTER MEMBER of the Society of Watershape Designers.
Multi-year MASTER of DESIGN winner.
International CHAIRMAN’S AWARD winner with NSPI/APSP/PHTA.
